In this series, bleach functions as a deliberate agent for transformation within the photographic process. By applying the household chemical to silver gelatin paper, the emulsion is disrupted and the original print is altered as a result. The laundromat, a space typically associated with renewal, is recontextualized as the chemical reaction gradually erodes the images. This degradation highlights the conflict between sustainability and deterioration. The photographs in this series invite reflection on the subtle consequences of daily practices.
